About us

Keren Or for our Child Ukraine

Keren Or for our Child Ukraine is a subsidiary of the Keren Or for our Child Israel Charitable Foundation, which provides assistance to Ukrainian families and children, adults, as well as military personnel who have suffered as a result of hostilities in Ukraine.

History of the Foundation

Keren Or for our Child Ukraine is a subsidiary of the “KEREN OR FOR CHILD” Israel Charitable Foundation in Ukraine. We provide assistance to children and families suffering from oncohematological problems.

To effectively help families, it is necessary to have official status.
In April 2021, our charitable foundation was registered.

Our volunteers are located and help in many regional children’s centers in Western Ukraine. We hope that in the near future, our activity will extend to the whole territory of Ukraine.

In September 2021, a general decision of the board was made to finance the opening of a medical facility on the western territory of Ukraine, with the possibility of obtaining free treatment quotas, thanks to funding from the foundation. Thus, we are forming an international structure in Ukraine, which will be of the highest European standard, with the full supervision of Israeli specialists in the field of haemato-oncology.

Our goal is to save more lives in Ukraine without going abroad, thus saving time and money, while ensuring decent medical care in Ukraine.
In the process, we decided to help military personnel and civilians affected by military operations.

The activity of the Foundation

The charity foundation “KEREN OR FOR OUR CHILD” (EDRPOU code 44393299) provides assistance to children with cancer, leukemia, and other serious illnesses, as well as to children affected by war, disasters, armed conflicts and accidents, natural disasters, environmental, man-made and other catastrophes.

In September 2021, a general decision of the board approved funding for the opening of the first Israeli social oncology center in Eastern Europe “Maimonides Medical” in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, with the possibility of obtaining free quotas for treatment. The medical center meets the European standard to the maximum extent possible, with full supervision of Israeli specialists.

The main task of the fund is financial, organizational, and household assistance in the treatment of children in Ukraine.

We help cancer patients. For them, we create an atmosphere of hope and faith in a happy cure. Volunteers play a very important role in this, as they have their own history of similar illnesses and real experiences of fighting a terrible disease.
They are very happy to share their strength and provide moral and financial support.
All our efforts, all our experiences, and all our warmth are aimed at helping children and families suffering from oncohematological problems and families, adults, and military personnel who have suffered as a result of military operations, to go through a difficult, complicated, and often long way of treatment.
