Vladyslav is a very cheerful boy. He has many friends with whom he likes to communicate, play football, computer games, ride bicycles. A gentle, sympathetic boy, cheerful and smiling, who will always come to the rescue.
At the beginning of 2022, the parents observed the growth of a tumor formation in the distal part of the left femur with increasing pain and restriction of the child’s movements. Doctors sent Vladyslav to Kyiv for diagnosis. After a biopsy, Vladyslav was diagnosed with chondroblastic osteosarcoma of the left femur.
Treatment began at the Munich Schwabing Clinic, Clinic of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. There, a routine pediatric oncological examination and repeated biopsy of the tumor mass were performed.
The results of the study confirmed the diagnosis of chondroblastic osteosarcoma. Unfortunately, multiple metastases were found in the bones of the ipsilateral pelvis and thigh, contralateral thigh, vertebrae, lymph nodes, and soft tissues, as well as bilateral lung metastases. After a long treatment, the funds ran out. We received recommendations and returned to Ukraine.
As a result of the search for charitable organizations, the charitable foundation “KERENOR FOR OUR CHILDREN” responded.
Vladyslav continued his treatment in the children’s oncology department of the “Maimonides Medical” Medical Center, Ivano-Frankivsk.
